We invite you to a series of short and informal workshops designed to help you.

The Inland Revenue Business Support Team provides free educational workshops on a series of subjects specifically designed to help you in calculating Tax and National Insurance. The workshops are provided at venues across the country and the only cost to you is a little of your time.

The Subjects

Becoming Self Employed
Suitable for those who are about to be or are newly self employed. We explain the basics of Tax, National Insurance and VAT - including registering, record keeping and when to pay.

Self Assessment for Self Employed
Aimed at Sole Traders and Partnerships we explain how to complete your self assessment return. We cover the expenses and allowances you can claim, the deadline you need to meet and how to pay your tax.

Construction Industry Scheme
Designed for building contractors. You will learn how the current ID card and voucher scheme works.
